The protection film acts as a sacrificial layer, absorbing these impacts and preventing minor damage from spreading into severe cracks.
 
It is particularly essential for:
- Luxury and sports cars with expensive windshields (including HUD/ADAS-equipped vehicles.
- Vehicles frequently driven on highways or unpaved roads
- Vehicles operating in extreme climates such as deserts, icy winters, or hail-prone areas

A windshield protection film is applied to the exterior of a vehicle’s windshield.
It protects the glass against everyday road hazards such as gravel, road debris, sand erosion, and harsh weather, while absorbing impacts to prevent cracks and costly windshield replacements.
Some products also provide UV protection and glare reduction for safer, more comfortable driving.

- Delamination
 
Warranty Exclusions:
- Improper cleaning or maintenance
- Installations by unauthorized installers
- User negligence or intentional damage
- Glass breakage
- Installation failures caused by overheating or insufficient curing

A professionally installed film will have clean, aligned edges with no wrinkles or lifting. If you notice any irregularities, contact your installer for inspection.
Q Window Film Can the film be removed or replaced?
A
Yes. ULTRAFIT films can be removed and replaced. To avoid glass damage, always request removal or replacement from a certified installer.
Q Window Film Can I install the film myself?
A
We strongly recommend installation by a certified ULTRAFIT installer. The Lifetime Warranty does not apply to self-installed films or to damage caused by improper installation.
Q Window Film Are there special precautions right after installation?
A
Yes. Do not roll down the windows or touch the film for at least 24 hours. This ensures proper curing and adhesion. Any damage caused by user mishandling before the film has fully stabilized is not covered under warranty.

Use a soft microfiber cloth and mild soapy water to gently clean the surface. Do not use ammonia, alcohol-based cleaners, or abrasive materials because they may damage the film.
