Q Window Film What does the ULTRAFIT window film warranty cover?
A

1.    The ULTRAFIT Vivid Series, when installed by an authorized ULTRAFIT dealer, is backed by a Lifetime Warranty valid for the original vehicle owner.
Covered defects include:

-      Peeling

-      Cracking

-      Bubbling

-      Purple discoloration

-      Delamination

Warranty Exclusions:

-      Improper cleaning or maintenance

-      Installations by unauthorized installers

-      User negligence or intentional damage

-      Glass breakage

-      Installation failures caused by overheating or insufficient curing

The warranty covers film replacement only. Labor and incidental costs are not included. Warranty claims must be submitted to the installer along with clear photos or videos showing the defect.

The ULTRAFIT Vivid Series includes three specialized product lines, all utilizing Nano Carbon Ceramic IR technology:


VS (Vivid Signature): Up to 97% IR rejection – Premium-level heat protection.
VF (Vivid Forte): Up to 88% IR rejection – Balanced functionality and style.
VC (Vivid Comfort): Up to 79% IR rejection – Cost-effective and reliable performance.

Q Window Film What is Nano Carbon Ceramic IR?
A
The ULTRAFIT Nano Carbon Ceramic IR technology effectively blocks infrared radiation in the 780-2500(nm) range, while minimizing signal interference and color fading. It also provides excellent heat rejection, superior optical clarity, and long-lasting comfort.
Q Window Film How do I know if the film was installed properly?
A
A professionally installed film will have clean, aligned edges with no wrinkles or lifting. If you notice any irregularities, contact your installer for inspection.
Q Window Film Can the film be removed or replaced?
A
Yes. ULTRAFIT films can be removed and replaced. To avoid glass damage, always request removal or replacement from a certified installer.
Q Window Film Can I install the film myself?
A
We strongly recommend installation by a certified ULTRAFIT installer. The Lifetime Warranty does not apply to self-installed films or to damage caused by improper installation.
Q Window Film Are there special precautions right after installation?
A
Yes. Do not roll down the windows or touch the film for at least 24 hours. This ensures proper curing and adhesion. Any damage caused by user mishandling before the film has fully stabilized is not covered under warranty.
Q Window Film What if I notice streaks or smudges on the film after installation?
A
Use a soft microfiber cloth and mild soapy water to gently clean the surface. Do not use ammonia, alcohol-based cleaners, or abrasive materials because they may damage the film.
Q Window Film Can I wash the film right after installation?
A
No. Please avoid cleaning the surface for at least one week until the adhesive has fully cured and bubbles have disappeared. Washing too early may cause streaks or affect the finish.
Q Window Film Will there be air bubbles after installation?
A
Yes. Small air bubbles may temporarily appear after installation. This is normal and usually disappears within a few days to a few weeks as the adhesive cures. If bubbles remain for an extended period, we recommend having a professional inspection of the installation.
